The first reference in the history of football boots dates back to 1526, owned by King Henry VIII. He paid four shillings (about $120 today) for them, and they were made by the craftsman Cornelius Johnson. The first boots weighed about 500 gr. each, which could be converted into 1 kg. when the field was wet. In 1925, the brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler launched the first football boots with interchangeable studs. The brothers would separate, founding Puma and Adidas.<
