MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS
BY ÁLEX REMIRO
Álex Remiro - goalkeeper of the Real Sociedad and Spanish National Team - and the NGO Fútbol Más España are promoting a socio-educational impact project in sport to work on positive parenting and emotional regulation of boys, girls and families who practice sport.
Without shouting, without fights, without egos, without pressure... as a team, as a family and with respect. For a football that integrates and does not divide . For the mental health and emotional support of all of us who are and are.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The project, through workshops, provides training to the football clubs of Gipuzkoa. The workshops focus on how to create safe and protective environments in the family, which guarantee the well-being of children and adolescents, and on promoting positive environments in the sports field.

ABOUT ÁLEX REMIRO
The work of Futbol Más caught the attention of Álex Remiro, Real Sociedad goalkeeper, whose motivations and way of seeing and understanding the sport intersect very closely with the vision of the NGO. In this way and hand in hand with both, a new socio-educational training project emerges, which will aim to promote positive parenting and emotional regulation in the families of young people who play football in clubs in Gipuzkoa.
