THE STORY BEHIND ...

Producto

The first recorded mention of football boots dates back to 1526, belonging to King Henry VIII. He paid four shillings (equivalent to about $120 today) for them, and they were made by the craftsman Cornelius Johnson.

The first boots weighed around 500 grams each, a weight that could double to a kilogram when the pitch was wet.

In 1925, brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler launched the first football boots with interchangeable studs. Years later, the brothers would go their separate ways and found the brands Puma and Adidas.
