UD LAS PALMAS
On August 22, 1949, five clubs from Gran Canaria—Club Deportivo Gran Canaria, Atlético Club, Arenas Club, Real Club Victoria, and Marino Fútbol Club—decided to join forces to create a new entity that would proudly represent the island. Thus, Unión Deportiva Las Palmas was born, a club that from its inception has been synonymous with passion, fighting spirit, and unity.
Throughout its history, UD Las Palmas has been a benchmark of Canarian football, standing out for its style of play and for developing young talents who have shone both nationally and internationally.
The Gran Canaria Stadium, inaugurated in 2003, stands as the temple where the dreams of the fans come true. With unwavering support and a constant commitment to youth development, UD Las Palmas continues to be the heart and soul of football in the Canary Islands, proudly wearing the yellow and blue colors that define it.
