On 14 February 1970, Agrupación Deportiva Ceuta was founded. The historic Atlético de Ceuta and SDU África Ceutí joined forces, creating a unified project designed to dream big. Representing the club meant wearing the emblem of a united city. The Alfonso Murube Municipal Stadium became an impregnable fortress, hosting the greatest celebrations of the ‘caballa’ supporters. That team forged a golden age. Their sense of belonging remains the guiding light of Ceuta football.

Iconic Moments

21 June 1998 marked a turning point in the history of Asociación Deportiva Ceuta. On that date, the team secured a historic victory against Villafranca de Barros, achieving the long-awaited promotion to Segunda División B. This milestone was not only a great sporting success, but also marked the beginning of a period of growth and consolidation, during which the club has progressively evolved and improved to become a leading force in Ceuta football.
