The history of English football cannot be conceived without West Ham, a club with 122 years of tradition that represents the working and working class of London.
West Ham United FC was founded in 1895 under the name of Thames Ironworks and Ship-building Co. Ltd. In 1900 the name was changed to the current one and in 1919 the Club was selected to participate in the Football League Second Division, ascending to the First Division circa 1923. >
