History of football in Valladolid: tradition, passion and legacy.

Valladolid has a football tradition that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, with the first contacts of the Valladolid native Julio Alonso in 1904. The embryo of an organized club was the Valladolid Foot-ball Club of 1906. However, consolidation came after the merger of the two most important clubs of the time, C.D. Español and Sociedad Real Unión Deportiva, giving rise to Real Valladolid Deportivo on June 20, 1928. Over the decades, the club consolidated itself as Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, ​​S.A.D.
