Raymond Kopa, Napoleón del fútbol

Raymond Kopa, Napoleon of soccer

Today the legendary player who was a member of the Real Madrid Magic Quintet formed by him along with Rial, Di Stéfano, Puskas and Gento has passed away. The footballer is recognized as one of the best French players in history.

After passing through clubs such as SCO Angers, where he played for two years, and Stade de Reims, where he played 5 seasons until 1956, he arrived at Real Madrid, where he would become the historic player who leaves us today.

In 1956, when Real Madrid won the first European Cup in the final against Stade de Reims, the club decided to sign him and they were not wrong with him. They won three more consecutive European Cups and in 1958 they won their Ballon d'Or.

In 1959 he returned to the Stade de Reims where he once again won titles and decided to retire in 1966.

Au revoir fransuá.
