Brazil is the most successful nation in World Cup history, with five titles (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002). In 1958, with a young 17-year-old Pelé, Brazil won its first World Cup in Sweden, defeating the hosts in the final. In 1970, under the guidance of Mário Zagallo, the team fielded one of the most legendary lineups in history, featuring players like Tostão, Jairzinho, and Carlos Alberto Torres, who defeated Italy in the final in Mexico. Brazil loses the World Cup final at home to Uruguay at the Maracanã, a tragic moment that scarred the entire nation.

1958 – First World Cup Title:
