Few shirt designs have managed to garner the approval of virtually 100% of a fanbase. That happened in the 1994/95 season, when UD Las Palmas sported a design featuring a striking example of Canarian aboriginal artifacts: pintaderas.

With different geometric shapes, Canarian pintaderas are objects made primarily of clay or fired clay, crafted by the Guanches. They served as seals for body decoration (identifying a family), for sealing documents, and even for marking granaries.
