1984 HARRINGTON JACKET - Retro Football Jacket

Its origins lie in cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Salford, with groups such as the “Scallies” and the “Perry Boys”. The movement’s expansion was driven by fans travelling across Europe and bringing back exclusive clothing. A key moment was the match between Aberdeen and Liverpool in 1980, which helped to spread this style. Over time, the movement grew and spread throughout England. In the 1990s, it became linked with electronic music and bands such as Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses. Britpop further amplified its global cultural impact. Artists such as Liam Gallagher championed this style, connecting it to its football and working-class roots. Today, its legacy lives on in current trends that blend football and fashion.
